Our solution, proRM Fast Start for Microsoft Dynamics 365, includes the most important functionality for project and resource management. In this article, we focus on Project Gantt, which is besides Time Tracking, Approval Manager and Invoicing Manager an essential component of the app.

The main benefit of Project Gantt is its multi-project, or multi-customer, view. It allows you to display all ongoing and upcoming projects in the same view. This reliably helps you avoid conflicting commitments or resource shortages. With the Controlling mode you can also keep an eye on your KPIs.

Planning and structuring projects

Projects have a start and end date, consist of multiple project tasks that have different dependencies, and can have one or more milestones.

Project Gantt makes it possible to create these project structures and to edit them if needed. Gantt charts visualize project progress, project tasks and their dependencies.

You can easily keep track of all ongoing and upcoming projects by managing them in a multi-project and multi-customer view.

Creating and editing projects

You want to create project tasks, assign them available resources and edit their duration or change dependencies? Project Gantt makes it possible – directly in the project view.

Not only existing projects can be managed there, however. You can easily add new projects with just one click.

Editing multiple projects at the same time

Project Gantt makes multi-project management easier. All projects can be edited in the same window, so you do not have to switch between several views.

Controlling projects

The Controlling mode of Project Gantt shows you KPIs and displays its progress or level of compliance. The Gantt charts also let you view the current progress of each project task.

If you would like to have offline access to your project plan and status, you can export the Gantt view to PDF.

With all their advantages Gantt charts are an effective tool for project management. Learn more about Project Gantt of proRM Fast Start in our video:
